Until Dawn Developer Trademarks “Shattered State”

Supermassive Games made a name for themselves with Until Dawn, a unique story driven horror game for the PS4. The developer hasn’t done anything major since 2014 and it looks like that’s about to change.

Supermassive Games have trademarked Shattered State in Europe and it’s probably their next big IP. The interesting thing to note here is that the IP seems to be completely owned by Supermassive, while Until Dawn is owned by Sony. Maybe a sign of multiplatforming to come? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

There’s practically little to no information regarding Shattered State, except that the logo looks somewhat similar to that of Red Faction and the name implies that it will probably be about a resistance movement trying to overthrow a oppressive government. Just throwing it out there!
