This PS1-exclusive cult-classic third person survival horror game is getting a remake. Titled Fear Effect Reinvented it’s being developed by indie dev Sushee, with a helping hand from Forever Entertainment; Square Enix Collective will be the publisher (who assist indie developers in releasing their games).
The original game launched in 2000, published by Eidos Interactive and developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment; the plot follows a trio of mercenaries looking for a Hong Kong triad boss’ missing daughter.

It will stay true to the first game, with an improved take on the originals’ unique cel shaded visuals, fixed camera angles and controls.
Fear Effect Reinvented is coming to PC, PS4, XB1 and Switch in 2018.
